July 4th 2026 Celebrations Update & Reminders

Hello Rimrock Cove Owners,

Please see the attached final details for our upcoming July 4 celebration activities, including all Poker Walk stops. Thank you to all of our volunteers! We look forward to a festive and fun weekend!

A few reminders for you and your guests as we approach a busy weekend:

  • Parade: Please do not squirt or throw water balloons at the kids on the bikes during the parade. Allow them to have a great time being in a parade.

  • Water Fights: It’s super fun, until you’re slammed in the face with a balloon. Please be aware in the moment and we’d ask for your help in cleanup afterwards.

  • Wheeled Vehicles: Drivers of gas or electric powered vehicles — including cars, golf carts, scooters — must be 14 or older to drive within the park, and must follow all traffic signage. Golf cart drivers under 14 are permitted if a responsible adult (18+) sits in the adjacent seat. A valid driver's license is required for anyone operating a vehicle that's licensed or intended for legal road use. In addition, please respect the following:

    • Unattended small children: Please keep small children directly in front of your lot, especially when riding wheeled vehicles of any kind. If they ride on any of the park roads, they must be directly supervised to avoid injury to themselves and risk collisions with others. Do not allow small children to cross Moore Road on any vehicle unless an adult is directly supervising.

    • Night Driving: Golf Carts MUST have working headlights.

    • Moore Road: Golf carts may be driven on Moore Road but ONLY between the RRC second entrance and to the storage sheds. However, drivers must have their valid driver license on them and absolutely no alcohol. NOTE: The County sheriff patrols the road and there is some ambiguity on whether a golf cart needs to be street legal or not, so it is at your own risk if the sheriff interprets the law differently than RRC understands it.

    • Pedestrian safety: Be aware of pedestrians, especially children and the elderly, and yield the right of way.

    • Speed limits: Observe the posted speed limit of 10 mph within the community.

    • Parking: Please park wheeled vehicles in designated areas and avoid obstructing walkways or driveways.

    • Helmet use: We encourage the use of helmets for added protection.

    • Beach area: No wheeled vehicles on the beach other than small wagons.

    • Speed Bumps: Do not go on private property to go around speed bumps.

Owners are responsible for educating their guests and upholding the rules and regulations governing our community. Please enjoy our amenities with safety while being a good neighbor.

May 28th Storm Damage & Immediate Action Plan

Dear Rimrock Owners,

As many of you know, Rimrock Cove was hit by a severe wind and rainstorm on Thursday, May 28. The board spent Friday assessing the damage.

This is an update for the community on the immediate priority issues being addressed by the board and park manager:

  • Beach Road Damage: The road to the beach was severely damaged by a large tree that fell. Garbage trucks and boat trailers could not pass the damaged road. Jeff dumped several loads of gravel into the depressed section right away for temporary access until the road can be repaired.

  • Fallen Tree (Lot 308): A large tree fell onto an owner’s property. It is tangled in a shed and hanging over the residence. Because it requires professional removal and coordination with the owner’s insurance the board is working with Rimrock Cove’s insurance company to resolve this safely.
Homes and Structures: Luckily, there was very little damage to homes and structures. Owners who had visible damage have been contacted.

  • Hanging Branches and Unstable Trees: Multiple hanging limbs and partially uprooted trees pose a serious safety hazard. Jeff has marked the worst areas and contacted Basin Tree Service for assessment. The board has approved immediate work on these obvious safety hazards.

  • Orchard Clean-up: The orchard suffered severe tree damage and looked like a war zone. Jeff and Michael began cleanup efforts immediately and many park residents volunteered to clear the debris in the orchard and across the park. Huge thank you to everyone involved!

  • Delays in Tree Work: Due to widespread storm damage across the greater Moses Lake area, local tree services are heavily booked, meaning some community repairs may experience delays.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe.

Lifted - Boil Water Advisory - Your Water is Safe to Consume

TO: ALL RESIDENTS OF RIMROCK COVE

Date: May 13, 2026

NOTICE: BOIL WATER ADVISORY for Rimrock Cove has been lifted effective immediately

Dear Homeowner,

The precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been lifted effective immediately.  Biological testing has determined there is no contamination in our water supply and our water is safe to consume.

Thank you for your support and patience as we finally commission our new water tank.

Reminder:

  • Your water pressure is higher. It will not create a new leak, but any existing leak could become more noticeable. Inspect your plumbing connections as soon as possible.

Thank you,
Rimrock Cove Board of Directors

Precautionary Seven (7) Day Boil Water Advisory - May 11-17

URGENT: Precautionary Seven (7) Day Boil Water Advisory for All Residents of Rimrock Cove - May 11-17

Dear Rimrockers,

Due to the scheduled decommissioning of our existing water tank and the plumbing crossover to the new water tank, a precautionary Boil Water Advisory is in effect for all residents of Rimrock Cove starting Monday, May 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and in effect until Sunday, May 17, 6:00 p.m.

While we have not confirmed contamination, our water system will experience a loss of pressure for up to six hours, which may allow harmful bacteria to enter the water distribution lines. As a safety precaution, please boil your water before consuming it.

This advisory may be lifted sooner. When we confirm a clean biological test from our water testing laboratory you will be notified that the water is safe to consume and this advisory will be lifted. Our water purveyor will ask for an expedited analysis to make this advisory as short as possible.

What You Need to Do:

  • Boil water before consumption.

  • Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute and allow it to cool.

  • Use bottled or properly boiled water for drinking, food preparation, and hygiene.

  • Discard any ice or water recently produced by refrigerators.

For further assistance, please reach out to Jeff, our park manager, at 509-632-5200.

Thank you for your support and patience as we finally commission to our new water tank.
